You may have seen in the local media, concerning reports of anti-social behaviour occurring at Gyllyngvase Beach, Falmouth. In recent weeks, there have been repeated incidents of school-age youths, alongside adults, gathering in large numbers and drinking alcohol, using drugs, setting fires and assaulting both other young people and police officers. While this is not in the Helston area, local police have advised us that youths are travelling to the Gyllyngvase area from a number of other Cornish towns.
We are therefore highlighting this information to you as part of our ongoing work to safeguard all young people in our community.
