Post 16 Key Dates (Year 13 & P10)

14th June 2022

Year 13 and P10 Key Dates

We would like to update you on the key dates which are listed below and would ask if you would please make a note of them in your diaries until the end of August.

Celebration Evening will be held on Tuesday 28 June at 6pm in the main college hall on north site, when prizes and Records of Achievement earned in the last academic year by College students will be presented.  Please complete the short google form (https://forms.gle/4mAc8if3opD36t4s5) to let us know your intentions and numbers attending.  The Post 16 Student Leavers’ Day is on Wednesday 29 June.  We would ask that all students come into College on that day to return all books, equipment and any money owed for resources purchased from departments.  Students are requested to come to the Post-16 Centre at 11.00 am for a final student briefing.  Following this, students will be asked to complete a leavers’ form. There will then be a buffet lunch, with hot dogs for students and staff together.

It is really important that students attend this event as we need to ensure that all loaned books or equipment are returned. I hope you can understand the time it would take to follow up students who do not attend and need to return equipment.  If there is a legitimate reason why a student would not be able to attend, please let the College know and we can arrange an alternative to complete the leaving procedure.

We are delighted to be able to run the Post 16 Summer Ball on Thursday 30 June to be held at the Tregenna Castle Hotel, St Ives from 5.45pm to 11:00pm.  Please note that the College is unable to provide transport for the evening, and parents/carers are asked to collect students from the venue by 11.00 pm.

The examination results will be published on Thursday 18 August and can be collected from 9.00am-12.00 noon in the Post 16 Centre.

We would like to conclude by saying what a pleasure it has been to work with the students and to wish them all the very best for their exams and future career.
