On Friday 22nd March the DSEN team hosted a Dyslexia Awareness Workshop for year 7 parents.
The workshop was hosted by Mrs C Bloor.( Ably assisted by some year 7 student guides)
The parents were given an overview of what Dyslexia is and how it can impact learning; they were also shown ideas for revision strategies, which they can help their young people with at home.
The parents thoroughly enjoyed the afternoon and took home some new ideas.
