Students 'beat the bounds'

9th May 2018

On Wednesday 9th May Mr Richardson took four Year 7 students Myah, Jamie-Lee, Rohan and Ethan on Helston's 'Beating the Boundaries'.

They walked to nine of the boundary stones around Helston taking turns to be tipped upside down and having our heads banged three times on a tuft of grass on top of the boundary stones and then giving the stones three cheers.

Everybody had a go including the Mayor of Helston and Lieutenant Commander Bennetts at Culdrose! Although a tiring afternoon with inclement weather everyone enjoyed themselves in representing the College in this traditional Helston ritual.
